El manto blanquiazul de la virgen come-mierda

Discontextualized fragment from a six-piece saga of video performances describing the process of trauma, and its five subsequent stages to its final release.

This fragment belongs to the first piece, which introduces trauma in the context of the spiritual ravaging and conquest perpetrated by spaniards five centuries ago, with still quite dramatic evidences of trauma in the personality of the mexican society, hereby represented through the ancient image of the moon goddess, more in particular, that of Cihuacóatl, patron of the new moon, and therefore, of decay and death; whose image and symbolism were later used by spaniards to create the mexican catholic virgin, worshiped to date.

The original version includes a text, portraying a dialog between God and Cihuacóatl, given in prayers from both religions. This is only a demo version; anyway, enjoy!

F!

Dedicado a la come - mierda este 12 de diciembre.
